In a world devoted to ‘best practices’ it is remarkable that one ‘best practice’ that Jesus both engaged in personally and assumed His disciples would employ, is all but forgotten today. Fasting is likely the least utilized ‘best practice’ of the Christian life… even though Jesus explained that a lack of fasting results in spiritual anemia. This week we will take a closer look at how a little hunger can be spiritually fulfilling!

The Easter story is all about Jesus’ ‘reconditioning’ of humankind… and Peter is our poster child. Why is Peter’s failure so central and so associated with the Easter message?
