Volunteer Care – Our volunteers care for our children, you care for our volunteers! We are looking for people to keep in communication with program volunteers, take prayer requests, send birthday cards, and ensure that they feel cared for and valued as a volunteer. This is done at home during the week via phone calls and emails, and cards. Contact Susan Corkern

Substitute Teacher – Calling all (substitute) teachers! We need people to lead lessons and activities for K-3 when our regular teachers and helpers can't make it. It is during one service every other Sunday. Contact Susan Corkern

Decoration Team – Consider yourself an interior designer? How about putting those skills to work in Two River's Riverbank area! Plan and implement various themes about once a month. Contact Susan Corkern

Soundboard Operator – Do you have experience with audio equipment and mixing? We would love to train you and plug you into... Childrens' Ministry! We need volunteers to run sound, every other Sunday for a single service, in the River Splash Theater for our young'uns. Contact Susan Corkern

Large Group Host/Actor – Where would Batman be without his sidekick Robin? Our Dive-In teachers need sidekicks, too! Memorize themes, story lines and talking points to effectively and creatively communicate and teach the main point of a lesson surrounding a Bible story. Service Coordinator – We need people with the gifts of leadership and administration to help ensure that everything runs safely and smoothly in the K-3 hallways from check-in to check-out, act as a liaison between the Service Director and Security Team, handle parent/child issues and monitor visitors. Greeter – We need kids greeters! If you love nothing more than seeing the smile of the little ones come help make that smile happen! Welcome parents and kids as they enter Riverbank area, direct any visitors to classrooms, and work the check-in tables as needed. Every other Sunday, one service for 30 minutes. Class Supply Team – Behind the scenes your style? The Dive In teachers need supplies ready on Sundays for everything to run smoothly. The time commitment is every other week, during the day. Contact Susan Corkern

Curriculum Modifier – Part of the reason our Dive In teaching is so good is because we have good curriculum! If you want to be part of the teaching without getting up in front yourself consider helping out here. We need people to adapt K-3rd grade curriculum each month so that the lessons are relevant, feasible, and practical for our purposes and use. This is done monthly or bimonthly from home. Fall Family Frenzy Team – Our Fall Family Frenzy is one of our biggest outreaches of the year. The team assists the planning and implementation of the event. Shed Cleanup/Organization Team – Students live in The Shed! If your heart is serving and you have organizational skills, we need you! This team will maintain monthly cleanup, inside and out and the back storage area of The Shed. This team will help discover any needs of The Shed. High School FUEL Fillup Team – Food on Wednesday night is a draw for High School students. Come be part of a fun, dynamic team of men and women that keeps our students fed, by planning meals for the season, organizing groups to provide food, rotating parent volunteers to serve and maintain kitchen organization at The Shed. Special Events Hospitality Team – Do you have the gift of hospitality? We are looking for people to partner in creating a warm, and welcoming environment through decorating, food and drink preparation before and during special events (Discipling U seminars, Wade In, Alpha, Men’s, Women’s, and Singles events, conferences, informational meetings etc.) The time commitment is periodic and highly flexible. |

Special Events Technical Team – Do you have gifts in sound, lights, computer, etc. and want a place to plug in? Then look no further! We want to use your skills to provide sound, computer, and video support during special events. The time commitment is highly flexible, about 1-2 hours per week leading up to special events and extended time during special events. |

Service Coordinator for Appalachia and Lighthouse Ministry – Serve the 2RC body and community of Appalachia by setting up projects for food distribution, backpacks and school supplies or other tangible ways to love those who are the least of these. Mentor – Mentors are needed for Kid's Hope USA at Eaton Elementary School. Kid's Hope USA is the largest church sponsored, elementary school-based mentoring program in the country! It builds sustainable partnerships between churches and public schools by equipping church-based directors to deliver a nationally acclaimed school-based mentoring model. The time commitment is one hour per week.

Acts 2 Financial Counselor – Do you want to serve the 2RC body by ministering with compassion and care to those who have a need for financial assistance? Camera Operator – A key role on Sundays! We show the camera feed of the sermon on the TVs located around the building. We also use the camera to tape the sermon for The Merge - our video venue in the River Room at 10:40am. Our camera is easy to use and we would love to train you! Worship Slide Show Creator/Operator – This is one most important roles during the worship service! If there are no words on the screen it is hard for the people to follow the song and the great truths about God! Our presentation program is easy to learn and fun to use! You build the set list on the computer adding lyrics and background colors before service and run it during service. Sermon Presentation Designer/Presenter – We're looking for people who enjoy building sharp presentations that communicate the critical points of the sermon as well as provide the Scripture on the screens. Our teaching team provides the specific material needed; you build the presentation! Then you run the presentation on Sunday morning. Looking for people to serve one Sunday per month. We are looking for servant hearts who serve in a variety of roles during our worship services. Roles include making copies, moving stage props, praying and other general needs during our services. Replace damaged ceiling tiles – As needed with job holder checking tile conditions monthly. Keep roof covering clean – At least monthly to help avoid penetrations of roof covering. Computer – Occasional jobs like finding out why our computer dedicated to the chimes looses track of days. Similar problem with light timers. Locks – Door locks break down now and then. Appliance repair – Kitchen stuff mostly. Elevator repair – Lift to the stage is not working properly. Plumbing – Automatic flusher problems, clogs, work on water heaters, etc. Flooring – Replacing tiles that get broken. HVAC – Someone trained in this field enough to do periodic inspections to warn ahead of time when to call in our HVAC contractor and to inspect after work is done to assure done properly. Thermostats – We need people to inspect stats and adjust them as needed. General – Hanging stuff on walls, light carpentry, skilled finish carpentry, general mechanical work.

Growth Group Leader – Growth groups are at the core of discipleship and community at Two Rivers. As the church grows so does our need for Growth Group leaders. Stephen Minister – Two Rivers' Stephen Ministry equips "regular people" to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to individuals who are experiencing difficulty or major events in their lives, from deaths & illness, to births & adoption, to unemployment. Personal Contact Specialist – Personally follow up with guests answering their questions and helping them find their way into the life and ministry at Two Rivers. About one hour per weeks with other team members on campus, with initial training. |
